March 10, 2005, Indianapolis, IN - For the third time in five years, Pac-Van, Inc. has won a "Best of Show" award at the Modular Building Institute's annual convention. In addition to the top honor, the company also won five other awards. The "Awards of Distinction" are given annually to recognize the world’s best modular building projects. The projects are scored in four categories: architectural excellence, technical innovation, cost effectiveness/energy efficiency and calendar days to complete.
This year, Pac-Van's Mountain's Edge Community Welcome Center project was voted "Best of Show-Temporary Application" by the attendees at the conference. This same project, coordinated by Pac-Van's Las Vegas branch, also took home the 1st place honor in the "Temporary Retail / Hospitality Building 2,000+ sq ft" category.
